Mission & Vision

Vision:

Alumni Association was founded with the vision to maintain a life-long connection between the Institute and its alumni. In collaboration with an extremely dedicated life members and volunteers, the Alumni Association works to connect alumni, support students and build an unforgettable Institute experience through a diversity of events, programming and services.

Mission:

The mission of the Association has always been to foster strong bonds between alumni, students and the Institute, to keep alumni informed, and create a network enabling them to remain engaged with their alma mater and help shape it's future through the Association's programmes and services.

Basic Function of the Association:

The purpose of the association is to foster a spirit of loyalty and to promote the general welfare of our organization. Alumni association exist to support the parent organization’s goals, and to strengthen the ties between alumni, the community, and the parent organization.

The college’s alumni are its lasting legacy and strongest voice. Finding new ways to build an engaged membership base is an integral task of the Association. A member can easily join to this society to reconnect, give back to the Institute, and serve as a springboard for further development and enrichment of its legacy.

1.	Observation of Birth Day of Late Abha Maity, Founder of the College	Most of the observation based programme is conducted with present student and staff of the college. In case of different celebration like utsav or festival, the alumni take the role of assist character to organize those smoothly. Different initiative or awareness programme are arranged in collaboration with college or other recognized socio-cultural organization in the region. In some of the cases, due lack of finance the programmes are delayed to organize.

3.	Observation of Red Letter Days (Important Days) like Independence Day, Republic Day, Environment Day, Teacher’s Day, Literacy Day, Children Day, etc.
4.	Assisting the Nabin Baran Utsav (Freshers’ Welcome), Raksha Bandhan Utsav, Saradiya Utsav, Naba Barsha Udjapon, etc.
5.	Organizing the educational tour for our members and well wishers for non-profitable motive
6.	Arranging the Personality Development Programme regarding moral character of the students and their reliability and responsibility to society
7.	Organizing the Awareness Programme regarding different burning socio-cultural and environmental issues in the college adjacent areas
8.	Organizing the Blood Donation Camp and other such type of camps which are needful for the society
9.	Recommending the institution to promote and implement the diffusion of useful knowledge through the development of vocational education, job-oriented education, skill enhancement programme, etc.
10.	Publishing the magazine, booklet, handbills, etc. regarding the awareness on different socio-environmental problem
11.	Arranging and organizing ambulance service for rendering service to the needy patents without any profit making motive
12.	Arranging cultural programme as per regular basis for the socio-cultural interaction and development of the present and past characters related to the institution
13.	Taking the attempts to provide relief to the victims of flood, famine, pestilence and other calamities caused by nature and also man
14.	Arranging the half yearly or quarterly based meeting with the current authority of the college regarding the discussion about the development of college
15.	Arranging the reunion based platform for the interaction of present and past students, staff and well wishers
