About Us

Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya (affiliated to Vidyasagar University) was re-accredited with grade “B+” (2.69) by NAAC in the year2024. Our college is one of the larger colleges in rural Bengal in terms of strength of students (about 4,200) and the number of subjects taught (19- Honours Disciplines & 24- General Disciplines) at the undergraduate level and number of subjects taught (5-Regular PG Courses) at postgraduate level. The college campus consists of a lush green atmosphere with play ground, flower gardens, large UG and PG buildings, gymnasium, indoor sports training facilities, students’ hostel for girls, bank, students’ canteen, cycle stand, teachers’ accommodation, Principal’s quarters etc. There are also general auditorium inside the extended campus, canteen with modern facilities and subsidized food, digital cataloguing of library books and journals, library reading room, photocopy facilities for students and to provide better class room facilities with LCD projectors and audio-visual system and ceramic boards etc. Our college receives a well‐mixed pool of students from rural and urban areas.
