Programme Out come

PO 1:Now a days , the importance of automobile has become more essential in life than ever before as it plays a vital role in the transportation of mankind.

PO 2: Since the students studying automobile have been doing the several sector such as privet or governments job, they have been able to become self-dependent. And they have been able to update themselves about the various systems of automobiles with time. Every year, the students of our automobile department create various types of new project innovations and are quite helpful in researching them.

PO 3: After completing the course of Automobile, the students are working in different companies and they can work on their own and after passing from here, the students try to do higher education. Also, our students try to create new workshops as self-employed and earn from there and become financially and socially independent and responsible citizens.

Programme Specific Outcome:

After successful completion of B.Sc Major with Automobile Maintenance Students gain the knowledge of the following:-

PSO-1: Use of brake system, cooling system, gear technology in vehicle.

PSO-2: Function of engine system suspension system and electrical system in automobile.

PSO-3: Manufacturing and maintenance of automobile components.

PSO-4: Repairing of vehicle parts and how to identity and replace defective parts of  two ,three, four wheelers cars and heavy vehicle

SEMESTER-I Course Type :-  Major-1 Course Code :-  AUTHMJ101 Course Name:- Principles of Automobiles and IC Engine               Practical1. From the semester-1syllabus of our Automobile Department, the boys learn about thermodynamics and different types of engine classifications and their specifications. 2. This semester-1, the students study engine layouts and vehicle layouts, and learn about the components inside a vehicle that power the engine. 3. Students in this semester study automotive engineering, where they can study in detail about fuel systems, cooling systems, and lubrication systems. 4. The students of automobile  learn about various workshop safety and health from practical classes. They also learn about each tool as a workshop hand tool. They learn about different types of gauges and they learn about electrical safety and electrical hand tools. They learn to open and install each component that is used to operate the engine. In this semester, they learn about the line diagram of the cooling system, lubrication system and its related components.
SEMESTER-II Course Type :-  Major-2 Course Code :-  AUTHMJ102   Course Name:- Strength of Material                 Practical1. After studying semester-II ,the students will be able to learn about the different types of stress, strains. 2. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Centroid, methods of Gravity by Geometrical considerations, center of gravity by moments, center of Gravity of Plain figure, Solid Body, Symmetrical section, unsymmetrical section. 3. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about theDetermination of second moment of areas like rectangle, triangle, circle, radios of gyration, M.I of structural section such as angle, tee, I-Beam, channel, puller M.I of simple area.   4. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Valve timing for CI & SI engine ,different types of timing & fairing order setting process, different process of  clearance measurement, and taper. they learn about the line diagram of the Fuel system petrol and diesel   After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the.  
SEMESTER-III Course Type :-  Major-3 Course Code :-  AUTHMJ03 Course Name:- Theory of Machine         SEMESTER-III Course Type :-  Major-4 Course Code :-  AUTHMJ04   Course Name:- Suspension system, Steering system, Ignition system and Auto Air conditioning       PracticalFrom the semester-III the students of our  Department ,they will learn about Friction , laws of solid friction and kinetic friction, screw jack. Belt, Rope and Chain Drive, Gear and Gear Trains, Flywheels, cams, Governors and its related components     After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Steering system , Suspension system, Wheel alignment , ignition system, and vehicle air conditioning system   its related components       1. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Practice on visual Inspection and Carryout Overhauling and Inspection of shackle, leaf spring, front & rear suspension, shock absorber and replacing shock absorber ,coil spring, and Trouble shooting for Suspension system defects.   2. . After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Battery testing with hydrometer and multi meter, Spark plug cleaning, spark plug gap setting and spark plug testing with spark plug cleaning machine.   3.  After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Checking ignition timing, Checking & changing a spark plug, Identification and testing of Hall Effect sensor, Optical sensor. Tracing and testing of sensor circuits.   4. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Practice on removing steering wheel, Inspect and overhaul steering boxes, adjusting steering gear backlash,   5. After studying this semester, students will be able to learn about the Practice on Check and adjust the turning angle, align the drop arm and steering wheel with the front wheel. Check and correct toe-in. Check and correct setting wheel alignment with alignment machine, Inspect and adjust toe-in, toe-out, camber angle, castor angle, kingpin inclination and wheel run out.
