Special Prize
Jogendranath Bhaumik Memorial Prizes are awarded to the student for obtaining highest marks in Bengali(Hons.) and Zoology(Hons.) out of the interest of fixed deposit for a sum of Rs.5000/- and Rs.500/- respectively donated by Dr. A.K.Bhaumik & Smt.D.Bhaumik in revered memory of Late Jogendranath Bhaumik.
Madhab-Rajeswari Smriti Puraskar is awarded to the students for obtaining highest Marks in Political science(Hons.) out of the interest fixed deposit for a sum of Rs.5000/- donated by Prof Samarendranath Santra in revered memory of his parents.
“Dr.Ranjit Kr. Das merit” prize and “Pinaki Ranjan Dutta” memorial prize are awarded annually to the students standing first and second from this college.The prizes are given out of the interest of fixed deposit for a sum of Rs.10,000/- each donated respectively by Dr Ranjit Kr. Das , Reader of Mathematics and Smt.Sandhyarani Dutta in revered memory of her husband Pinaki Ranjan Dutta, fomar Head of the Department of Mathematics in this college .
“Tarendranath Dakshayani” memorial prizes is awarded annualy to the student securing highest marks in B.Sc. Physics Honours Final /Examination for this college .The prize is given out of the interest of a fixed deposit of Rs.3,000/- donated by Sri Pulin BehariJana, former polyee of this college in raverd memory of his parents. Bhagbat Chandra memorial Fund of Rs.5000/- donated by Sri Narayan Chandra Ghorai ex-librarian of this college in revered memory of his father Late Bhaghabat Chandra Ghorai .The interest of the said amount will be utilised annualy for purchase of books in the crntral library.
Harekrishna Jana Memorial fund of Rs.50,000/- donated by Sri Himanshu Sekhar Jana Of Vill-Tethibari,po.kismat bajkul, Purba Medinipur in memory of his revered father Late Harekrishna Jana. Interest of the said amount will be utilised by giving prizes to the student securing highest marks in philosophy in university examination and also for meetting the educational expenses of some poor but meritorious students reading in the College.
“sushila memorial fund of Rs. 150,000/- donated by Dr. Ranajit Manna, ex-associate Professor of phylosophy of this institution, in memory of his revered parents-Late bidur Chandra Manna and Late Sushila Manna.The amount of Rs.1,50,000.00 will remain fixed In a bank and the interest derived from it will cater to the needs of the toor students, the victims of naturals disaster and persons seeking medical help. Babulal Narmada Memorial fund of Rs.10,000/- donated by Mr.Swaraj Karan,ex-pert Time teacher in memory of his revered grand father and mother, The interest of the amount will be utilized for giving prize to the candidate securing highest marks in Geography in the final (part-III) Examination of Vidyasagar University.
