Message from the Principal In Charge

On behalf of the college authority I heartily welcome you to visit the website of our college, the Bajkul Milani Mahavidyalaya.

The college established and started on the 3rd September,1964 at the junction of three police stations viz. Bhagwanpur, Nandigram and Khejuri is a promising and flourishing one in the then district of Midnapore (at present in Purba Medinipur). It is situated by the western side of Kolkata – Digha state High Way and Digha – Howrah Railway (via Tamluk) has passed away embracing the college campus.

From a humble beginning the college has been flourished remarkably with attractive infrastructure and has been serving the cause of higher education with a fair measure of distinction during the last 46 years. At present our college offers Honours course in 15 subjects and General course in 20 subjects with one vocational (B.Sc. Major) course in Auto-Mobile Maintenance (The only college in south Bengal having this course) in which most of the pass outs are absorbed through campus interview.

The college can boast of ninety qualified teachers, forty three non teachers and about three thousand two hundred well disciplined students with consistently good academic records, A good number of students from disadvantaged, backward, minority, and BPL families of hundreds of villages are availing the opportunity of higher education.
